K&A along with Project HOME and city officials were present for the grand opening ceremony of Ruth Williams House at the Gene & Marlene Epstein Building on North Broad Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Tuesday, April 24th. Ruth Williams House is a five-story building offering 88 efficiency units, 20 units are dedicated to young adults who are, or are at risk of, becoming homeless.
Project HOME’s Workforce Solutions Program offers employment and education services to their residents. The LEED silver certified construction is conveniently within walking distance of the subway, bus routes and the regional rail, it is also just two blocks from Temple University. Congratulations to Project HOME and MPOWER for creating another imperative housing project in the city of Philadelphia that not only offers a new beginning to their residents but also paves the way for a better community and city as a whole.
