K&A’s Roger Keyser was a panel member at the 10th annual Interface Student Housing conference in Austin, TX April 4-6 which welcomed 1,200 industry leaders. On April 5th Roger contributed to a panel discussion with top executives titled “What is the Secret to Successfully Planning, Building and Operating Urban Infill Developments?”
Roger Keyser brings over 30 years of architectural design experience to his role as principal at Kitchen & Associates. Having developed K&A’s student housing portfolio since 2012, he has overseen the design of over 10,000 beds and $500 million of construction for a wide array of student housing typologies from townhouses to mixed-use mid- and high-rise buildings, in both urban and “college town” settings nationwide. Highly regarded as a thought leader in the industry, Roger has a keen ability to distill a client’s overall vision to create buildings that intelligently respond to their surroundings, program, and end users’ needs. He brings his innate proactive nature to anticipate and respond to the changing needs of both clients and stakeholders alike resulting in both a smooth process and a highly effective product. Roger’s recent projects include the LEED Gold certified The Verge, Cinncinati, OH, comprehensive renovation of The Tradition at Northgate, College Station, TX, and West Edge at Colorado Springs, CO.
