St. Christopher's Hospital for Children

Philadelphia PA

Go 4 The Goal—whose unwavering mission is to improve the lives of children battling cancer—is working to raise funds from donors in order to renovate the children’s cancer treatment suite at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. K&A provided interior design services related to the selection of new finishes, furniture selection, window treatment/cubicle curtains, as well as artwork and installation supervision.

The goal of the renovations at St. Christopher’s was to update the finishes and overall configuration of the space, bringing it up to modern standards, and making it more suitable and accessible to children of multiple age groups. Additionally, attention has been given to the re-configuration of the existing administrative areas in order to make them more user-friendly for staff and support personnel, and the space has been retrofitted to receive additional technical equipment, including wall-mounted flat panel screens, Wi-Fi and iPad stations.
