K&A provided complete architectural, engineering and interior design services for the interior and exterior rehabilitation of this six-story, 125-unit apartment building in Mount Holly, New Jersey. The project included the redesign of the building entry, new common area space plans on the first floor, an addition to the existing fitness room, and the reorganization of the building’s management facilities.

Also part of the program was the full renovation of unit kitchens and baths, including the installation of new luxury vinyl tile flooring, solid surface countertops, tile backsplashes, new cabinetry, and upgraded finishes. The project also included new siding, roofing, windows/doors, kitchens, baths and finishes for 38 attached townhomes.

The overall goal in the update to the interiors at Northampton Crossing is to attract young professionals and their families to the local community, provide them with living options that are in-line with their generation. Cost-effective finishes and furniture were selected and used to generate a mid-market design that will impress.
