The Finmore at 241 is a mixed-use, student housing project located high in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina and provides state-of-the-art, off-campus housing and high-end amenities for students of Appalachian State University. It contains 562 bedrooms in 174 one, two and four-bedroom apartment units. The wood-framed, residential structure sits on top of a concrete podium which provides covered parking and street front commercial space. The overall design emulates the vernacular of the historic mountain region in which it is located. The Finmore at 241 was completed in Fall, 2021.
