Jessup Family Housing Jessup, Pennsylvania

Jessup Family Housing is the first phase of a multi-phase redevelopment for the Lackawanna Housing Authority comprising seventy-six units of affordable family housing in thirteen, two-story residential buildings as well as a community building. The units are in one, two, three, and four bedroom configurations in both two-story townhouses or one-story flats. All first floor units are handicapped adaptable, with ten units designed to be fully handicapped accessible and an additional four units fit-out for those with hearing and visual impairments.

The site previously housed five cul-de-sacs with smaller contemporary buildings. In addition to architectural and engineering design, K&A provided site analysis and planning to reconfigure the site for improved traffic flow, increased density, parking accommodations, and handicapped accessibility. The development is Energy Star Certified.
