Commissioning ServicesOur engineers commission both new and existing buildings. Commissioning is a proven, and cost effective method for saving energy and money. It also improves occupant comfort and ensures that building systems are built, installed, and operating as intended. Using a third-party commissioning agent also helps prevent and/or identify problems before they become operational issues.

Commissioning is an intensive, quality-assurance process that begins during the design of a new building and continues through construction, occupancy, and operation. It assures that buildings operate as the owner initially intended and that building staff are prepared to operate and maintain its systems and equipment. Studies show that new building commissioning saves energy and operating costs and the returns are relatively short.  Energy efficiency improvements of at least 5 – 25% are well documented when commissioning is performed. The payback on commissioning existing buildings (known as retro- or recommissioning) is even more financially beneficial, with most projects having paybacks of less than two years.

If you want to improve the efficiency and decrease operating costs of your new or existing building, we can partner with you to ensure your building operates at optimal efficiency.
