Susan’s deep connection and commitment to her clients and her attention to detail have made her an integral part of K&A’s continued design excellence for over 20 years.

A Proven Expert
Since joining K&A in 1994, Susan has been involved in the development and management of a wide variety of projects through all phases of planning, design, and construction. As a Senior Associate of K&A, Susan is one of the firm’s experts with regard to interpretation and application of building and accessibility codes, and has contributed her design expertise to a number of housing and higher education projects, as well as managing a variety of affordable, family, senior, university and special needs housing projects. Susan’s broad expertise helps her guide her clients through the permitting and construction documentation process without losing sight of their vision and goals.

Outside the Office
Outside her work at K&A, Susan is an active community volunteer, animal lover and outdoor enthusiast. She volunteers for various ovarian cancer organizations, and Habitat for Humanity, and has 5 animal rescues. Among her many hobbies, she considers mountain biking, kayaking, snowboarding, photography and gardening to be her favorites.
