Planning for People
A professional planner with a background in architecture, Claudia has navigated through all aspects of planning and design over the course of her professional career. As an Associate of K&A, Claudia leads the firm’s Planning studio, bringing to it a passion for a people-based approach to community planning, neighborhood revitalization and design. Her sensitivity to the residents of the communities within which she works is heartfelt and evident in everything she does.

Understanding Community
During her time with K&A, Claudia has dedicated herself to understanding the multiple facets which make for successful and sustainable community revitalization and neighborhood design projects, including the planning and design of affordable housing, redevelopment projects, downtown revitalization and comprehensive municipal and regional planning efforts. Always with an eye on how planning impacts those on the ground, she has worked closely for and in partnership with community groups, governmental agencies and stakeholders throughout the country in order to ensure an intelligent, open and inclusive planning process.
