Steve Schoch AIA, LEED® AP BD+C

As Managing Principal of K&A, Steve’s dedication and influence on the K&A staff has resulted in establishing the firm’s leadership in the field of affordable housing for more than 25 years.

Since joining the firm in 1984 Steve has made significant contributions to both the creative and the business accomplishments of the firm. In addition to his leadership, Steve oversees K&A’s architectural endeavors, serving a wide variety of public, private and non-profit clients as team leader and designer.

He is an expert in the design of residential solutions for a broad spectrum of housing types including Affordable Housing/Housing Authorities, Mixed-Use Developments and Special-Needs /Supportive Housing. Steve has been a speaker at multiple professional workshops and conferences with topics ranging from “Building Better and More Affordable Housing”, “Common Sense Green”, “High Performance and Green Design-Build”, and “Recycling Historic Buildings.” He is NCARB certified, A LEED Accredited Professional and is a Registered Architect in fourteen states.
